DetailsAcclaimed as one of the world's most beautiful hosta varieties-the number one seller of all time! The center of H. 'Great Expectations' is a nice yellow in the spring, turning butter-colored later on, or white if it gets a lot of sun. The center will turn green if it's in a lot of shade. This hosta has irregular margins of blue and light green which contrast with the center color very well. The leaves are very puckered. Clusters of white flowers by mid-summer. The leaves have a perfect heart-shape and look great in bouquets. This is a specimen hosta - show it off!

- great hosta requires patience
Nice coloring and variegation with heavy substance. Does well in heavier shade as well as moderate sun in western Michigan. This hosta is a very slow grower but certainly worth the wait.
