Hosta 'Fire and Ice'

Availability: Out of stock

Stunning contrast with bright white inside a dark green margin. Nice bloom! A big seller and one of our favorites.

A flashy sport of H. 'Patriot.' Very similar to H. 'Loyalist' except much smaller at maturity. Bright, pure white center with a sharply contrasting dark green margin; heavy substance. Sun and slug resistant. Needs good morning sun or steady filtered shade to maintain its vigor. Does not set seed. Possibly considered a tetraploid.

Beautiful Hostas!!
These hostas are quite striking! It took a little longer for them to grow in my area, but they are well worth the wait.

very nice hosta
I really like the various shades of green blending into the white center. Very attractive. Mine gets several hours and early afternoon sun (western Michigan) and stays beautiful all season.

Great Border Plant
Use this Hosta all the time as a border plant along walks and beds. It is a perfect size, does not turn brown, and seems to be slub resistant. Love the dark green set against the pure white.... A must have for Hosta gardens and bed plantings.
