Hosta 'Elegans'

The first big blue with good substance! Giant, waxy, powdery, blue-green color with heavy substance and puckering. Has beautiful, prominent veins and deep corrugation. Bluest earlier in the season. Great as a background or specimen hosta and nice in a bouquet. Has pale lavender flowers blooming in June. Won the Best Blue Leaf Award at the AHS Convention in 1986.
