DetailsGlossy, medium green heart-shaped leaves with fantastic reddish-purple leaf bases where they meet the petiole, and coming up into the leaves. Unique short petioles that are so dark maroon they're almost black! Good slug resistance, and a neat compact mounding habit. 15 inches tall. Lavender flowers on dark maroon scapes in August/September.
