One of the very largest hostas! Huge leaves with a waxy shine in the spring give it a bluish-green cast and turn to a shiny green in the summer. This H. 'Sum and Substance' sport may be the darkest of the offspring and could match the parent size or possibly be larger. The low viable seed production of H. 'Sum and Substance' and its sports may relate to the possibility of a triploid. Does set limited viable seed.
