2007 Hosta of the Year! The leaves are chartreuse in the spring (turning gold) with a blue-green margin, good substance and quilting. Formerly known as H. 'Abiqua Paradigm,' this is a sport of 'Abiqua Recluse.' From the Greek word "paradeigma", which means "model, pattern, example." A very beautiful hosta deserving of its high ratings from American Hosta Society members. An excellent specimen plant. Very pale lavender flowers appear on 24" scapes in midsummer
