Details
Sport of the famous and highly-rated H. 'Paul's Glory.' It is unique in that it is brightly variegated all season long. The leaf center emerges a glowing yellow-gold, about the color of H. 'June.' Later turning a golden-orange, the result of an extra orange pigment in the leaf center. As summer approaches, the leaf center turns yellow and ultimately white in more light. W recommend you keep it out of direct afternoon sun to keep it more orange. The pale lavender flowers have a midrib on the petal only and slightly darker. Pale lavender flowers on 3-foot scapes from mid-July into early August. Orange is a rare color in hostas! Will be in demand for years to come!
