Light green, turning darker with blue hues; intensely wavy; intensely rippled; deeply corrugated; heavy substance. This hosta has to be one of the hostas with the most character. The busy looking textures on the leaves reminded the hybridizer of the city of Manhattan. Lavender-rose flowers in early summer.
