Details
Similar to and possibly the same as H. 'Angel Eyes'. Emerges in early spring with each leaf a bright creamy white. At some point the center becomes light green with blue-green margin. Later in the season the center fades to leave a simply stunning large blue hosta, ultimately 5' wide. The variegation is not evident on the leaves emerging in the summer heat, it may not change as much if grown in a cooler climate. As to the viability of the seeds, pods are evident on H. 'Guardian Angel' and a few seeds may germinate but success is rare.
