Details
Blue H. tardiana leaves with a gold margin emerging in the spring that turns to pure white as the season passes. It also holds up well in the garden until the "first frost," hence the name. The colors are stunning in early spring with the yellow edge. The margin size varies between .38"-.50". Lavender flowers in late summer. A fantastic sport of the famous H. 'Halcyon' developed by Patricia Scolnik of Chapel Hill, NC.
