Leaf center is a medium green with a cream margin of irregular width to .75" wide. The famous poet Emily Dickinson was from Amherst, Massachusetts, like the hybridizers (the Lachmans). The Lachmans also named H. 'Austin Dickinson' after Emily's brother and H. 'Mistress Mable' after Austin's mistress.
