Fragrant Blue
This small, vigorous grower is a true hybridizing breakthrough: a nice blue hosta with lightly fragrant flowers. Light white flowers on sturdy 18" scapes. Thanks to the summer growth traits of its parent, H. plantaginea, this 12" wide clump of smooth textured, powdery, chalky, blue leaves keeps sending up new leaves all summer. Bonuses are the rapid growth and smooth, slug-resistant substance.
(5 stars) Beautiful Blue This is my favorite blue hosta. It has a very smooth powdery appearance, and grows super fast! Becky - Ellsworth, WI - 5/8/2009 |
