Details
Large blue-green leaves are beautifully textured, heavily ribbed but not puckered. Leaf edges tend to curve downward, like an umbrella. Forms a large, symmetrical mound, an excellent specimen plant. White flowers. Its foliage is not very blue but it is a standout in the garden. Unusual shiny leaves for a giant 4'+ clump. Heavily textured and crinkled, satin-like. Vase shaped clump. This won the Best Blue Leaf Award at the AHS Convention in 1987 and 1998.
