Details
A tetraploid version of Mildred Seaver's H. 'Sea Thunder'. Like its parent, it has green leaves with a white center, but 'American Sweetheart' has a much wider green margin and much thicker leaves that are held more upright than H. 'Sea Thunder'. The margin size varies between 2"-3".
