H. 'Alex Summers' makes a nearly perfect upright 3' wide clump with dark green leaves with a contrasting wide golden-chartreuse border. Hosta has sturdy attractive flower spikes of lavender. This is named after our friend Alex Summers, one of the founding members and first president of the American Hosta Society. Similar to H. 'Gold Regal'.
